Larry Treadwell is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, engineer, music producer and arranger living in Los Angeles.

As a guitarist, Larry has played on recordings for such artists as CYNDI LAUPER, THE POINTER SISTERS, THOMAS DOLBY, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, THE ROLLING STONES and GERRY BECKLEY (of AMERICA), and movie soundtracks, including 【FernGully: The Last Rain Forest】(feat. Robin Williams and Tim Curry on vocals) and CHEECH & CHONG’s movie 【Still Smokin'】. 

As a songwriter, Larry has written with other writers and artists that include multi-hit songwriter RON MILLER (he wrote STEVIE WONDER’s hit「For Once In My Life」), MARTIKA, KESHA and ANDREW LOOG OLDHAM (THE ROLLING STONES album producer). Larry has co-written countless songs for television and film, many with Emmy-winning songwriter MICHELE VICE-MASLIN. Larry wrote songs for television series 【Fame】 with Grammy-winning songwriter SUSAN SHERIDAN, and composed cartoon soundtracks as well as specialty music for Saturday morning television on ABC with ALLEE WILLIS (composer for 【The Color Purple】on Broadway).

Recently, Larry and MURPHY DUNNE (actor and musician, featured in the “Blues Brothers” movies) composed the film score for an independent film by veteran actor/producer LARRY HANKIN. 

Larry was nominated for a Grammy in 1987 for his arrangement work on THOMAS DOLBY’s 「The Key To Her Ferrari」. Larry toured internationally with THOMAS DOLBY’s band THE LOST TOY PEOPLE, and played on two albums 『Aliens Ate My Buick』 and 『Astronauts and Heretics』 that Larry actually plays on songs which include guitarists’ EDDIE VAN HALEN and JERRY GARCIA.

Larry played guitar in Los Angeles super-band SUMNER signed to the Elektra-Asylum label, headlining at nearly every rock club in town, with well-known fans as JONI MITCHELL and JON VOIGHT in the audience.

Larry presently plays guitar in the pit band at the world famous Groundlings Theatre in Hollywood, California which has introduced stars such as KRISTEN WIG, WILL FARRELL and MELISSA McCARTHY to the world.
