Nathan East, a Grammy nominated Jazz, R&B and Rock bassist credited with over 2,000 recordings, is considered one of the most recorded musicians in the history of music.
Nathan has collaborated with ERIC CLAPTON, GEORGE HARRISON, QUINCY JONES, MICHAEL JACKSON, PHIL COLLINS, KAZUMASA ODA, RINGO STAR, JOE SATRIANI, WHITNEY HOUSTON, BARBARA STREISAND, STEVIE WONDER, HERBIE HANCOCK, AL JARREAU, BEYONCE, ANITA BAKER, TOTO and DAFT PUNK's multi Grammy Award winning 『Random Access Memories』 with Nathan's bass line driving the worldwide hit song 「Get Lucky」.
Nathan co-wrote the #1 hit song 「Easy Lover」 with PHIL COLLINS and PHILIP BAILEY earning him multiple ASCAP Awards and Britain’s Prestigious “Ivar Novello Award” for most performed song.
Nathan is a founding member of contemporary jazz super-group FOURPLAY with Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Chuck Loeb and Harvey Mason.
In 2014 Nathan released his debut album「Nathan East」 on the Yamaha Entertainment Group label which went to #1 on the Billboard Jazz Charts and won a Grammy nomination for “Best Contemporary Instrumental Album”.
